How this site is built to be used.

We target WCAG 2.2 AA, and we would rather hear where we fall short.

Accessibility

What is implemented

The site is built from semantic HTML with a single h1 per page and no skipped heading levels. Every page is fully operable by keyboard and every focusable element has a visible focus state.

Colour is never the only carrier of meaning: system status is stated in words beside the figure that shows it, and the current navigation item is marked structurally, not just by hue.

Accessibility

Motion

All motion respects prefers-reduced-motion. With that setting on, no canvas renders, all content appears in its final state, and nothing is lost — the animated figures are enhancements to text that already carries the meaning.

The site is fully readable with JavaScript disabled.

Diagrams

The architecture diagram carries a title, a description, and every label as real, selectable text. Below 720px it becomes a stacked sequence carrying the same information, so the relationships hold at any width.

Colour contrast is measured against every ground a hue is used on, and each system hue has a separate tint for dark surfaces so both clear WCAG 2.2 AA.
